MILWAUKEE, WI — A 4-year-old child died Wednesday evening after a two-vehicle crash that injured three adults in West Allis, according to TMJ4.
The fatal accident occurred in the area of South 108th Street and West National Avenue at about 8:45 p.m.
An early investigation indicates a male driver in a vehicle heading southbound on South 108th Street hit another southbound vehicle that was carrying two adults and a child.
The driver of the striking vehicle sustained undisclosed injuries and all occupants of the victim vehicle suffered serious injuries. All occupants between both vehicles were transported to a nearby hospital.
Officials with the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed the child later died.
An investigation into the cause of the collision remains ongoing.
