WASHINGTON COUNTY, WI — A 62-year-old man died Sunday evening after a bicycle accident on Lovers Lane in northeast Germantown, according to Express News.
Germantown Police responded to the scene between Pleasant View Drive and Mary Bluth Lane shortly after 7:10 p.m.
The circumstances behind the collision were unclear, but officers and Germantown Rescue crews arrived to find the cyclist seriously injured.
First responders administered life-saving measures to the victim, and Flight for Life was requested at the scene, but the victim died from his injuries at the scene.
No further details have been released at this time, but officials said no one else appeared to have been involved in the crash.
A section of Lovers Lane was shut down for over two hours during the emergency response.
An investigation remains ongoing.
