GREEN BAY, WI — A crash last Friday morning caused major delays on Interstate 43 near Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary in Green Bay’s Eastside, according to Kathryn Bracho, First Alert traffic anchor with Action 2 News This Morning.
The collision occurred on the southbound interstate at Exit 187 to Webster Avenue and was first reported at around 8:51 a.m.
It was unclear what led up to the wreck or how many vehicles were involved, but commuters were advised to avoid the scene.
Interstate 41 to Wisconsin Highway 172 eastbound was recommended as an alternate route to get across the area.
