MILWAUKEE, WI — Two teenagers were hospitalized Saturday morning after a collision near northwest Milwaukee’s Sherman Park neighborhood, according to FOX6 Milwaukee.
The accident occurred at the corner of West Fond du Lac Avenue and West Locust Street at about 8:20 a.m.
An early investigation indicates a 19-year-old man crashed his car into another vehicle after running flashing red lights at the intersection.
The driver suffered serious injuries, along with his passenger, an 18-year-old woman who had to be extricated from the wreckage. Both patients were transported to a nearby hospital where their conditions remain undisclosed.
No one else in the other vehicle was reported hurt.
