MILWAUKEE, WI — One person was arrested early Thursday after a police pursuit led to a collision near northwest Milwaukee’s Columbus Park neighborhood, reports FOX6 Milwaukee.
Milwaukee Police said the crash occurred in the area of West Beckett Avenue and West Courtland Avenue shortly after 2:15 a.m.
Details are limited, but officers were pursuing a driver in a stolen vehicle when the fleeing driver slammed into a nearby garage.
The suspect initially fled the scene on foot but was soon apprehended.
No one else was reported injured in the incident.
As of this writing, officials have not released further information.
