MILWAUKEE, WI — Property damage was reported last Thursday, May 12, after a dump truck hit a parked vehicle and crashed through a yard in Milwaukee’s Polonia neighborhood, reports FOX6 Milwaukee.
The incident occurred at a residence on the corner of South 15th Place and West Cleveland Avenue, at around 6:30 p.m.
A surveillance camera captured the white truck speeding through an alleyway before slamming through a fence, striking the parked vehicle, and flattening several bushes and trees in the yard. The truck also appeared to nearly have hit a group of children.
The driver of the truck fled the scene, but a business name seen on the side of the truck allowed authorities to find out where the vehicle was registered. Shortly after, Milwaukee police located the truck parked behind another property.
At this time, no further information has been shared, but an investigation was underway.
