WAUKESHA COUNTY, WI — A vehicle crash late Thursday afternoon blocked two right lanes on U.S. Highway 18 near the Brookfield Square shopping mall in south Brookfield, according to 511 Wisconsin.
The collision took place on the westbound lanes at Main Street and was first reported by 511 at 4:53 p.m.

It was not immediately clear what caused the wreck or how many vehicles were involved, but the scene remained on the roadway for nearly half an hour.
By 5:18 p.m., all lanes were reopened to traffic.
