WAUKESHA COUNTY, WI — An 18-year-old passenger died early Wednesday morning after a collision that occurred during a police chase on County Highway Y in Menomonee Falls, reports TMJ4.
The fatal crash happened on a stretch of CTH Y, or Lannon Road, near Mill Road shortly after 12:49 a.m.
According to the Menomonee Falls Police Department, officers with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office were pursuing a vehicle when the chase was terminated.
Following the termination, Menomonee Falls police responded to the scene of the crash where the teen passenger had died.
The vehicle’s driver, a 27-year-old man, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital. He was arrested and was expected to be taken to the Waukesha County Jail. Authorities said he may face a felony charge.
