BROWN COUNTY, WI — A suspected drunk driver was taken into custody Friday after a two-vehicle crash involving a patrol vehicle in Ashwaubenon, according to Kaukauna Community News.
Ashwaubenon Public Safety said the collision occurred while one of its officers was assisting another officer during a traffic stop.
According to authorities, the officer was outside of his squad car when it was rear-ended and heavily damaged by the OWI suspect.
No injuries were reported, but the striking driver was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
As of this writing, authorities have not disclosed specific details on the time and location of the incident.
