WASHINGTON COUNTY, WI — A man was taken into custody Sunday after crashing his car into a patrol vehicle and multiple other objects during a pursuit near Germantown, reports WISN.
The series of collisions took place on Mequon Road at Squire Drive and then later at North Swan Road in Mequon.
According to authorities, officers first responded to the area of Mequon and Squire after receiving reports of a man passed out behind the wheel of his car.
As the officers approached, the male driver collided with a traffic light and a fence as he sped off. The suspect would go on to hit multiple other objects along the road before crashing into a squad car. The suspect’s vehicle then came to rest in a ditch off North Swan Road.
It was not immediately clear whether anyone was hurt in the incident. No further information has been made available at this time.
