MILWAUKEE, WI — A Milwaukee County Transit System bus was struck Tuesday night after a driver ran a red light in Milwaukee’s Roosevelt Grove area, reports TMJ4.
The incident occurred near North Sherman Boulevard and West Capitol Drive shortly before 11:00 p.m.
Details are limited, but MCTS officials said five passengers were on board the bus at the time of the event. No injuries to the bus driver or other occupants were reported.
The driver of the striking vehicle suffered undisclosed injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
