MILWAUKEE COUNTY, WI — A vehicle crash Monday afternoon closed multiple lanes on Interstate 41 near Hansen Park Golf Course in Wauwatosa, according to TTWN Milwaukee.
The collision took place on the southbound lanes at Exit 42A to North Mayfair Road. It was first reported by TTWN at 2:20 p.m.
It was not immediately clear what caused the wreck, but a left lane was initially blocked. By 2:25 p.m., two right lanes became blocked, and traffic had backed up to Blue Mound Road, or U.S. Highway 18.

Authorities later warned of stop-and-go traffic on the southbound lanes between Silver Spring Drive and Mayfair Road due to onlookers.
