MILWAUKEE, WI — A man crashed his car into the Milwaukee River Sunday afternoon, sending himself and later three police officers to a hospital, reports TMJ4.
The accident occurred near the city’s Lincoln Park neighborhood shortly before 2:00 p.m.
Details are limited, but a witness told authorities a car traveled down a bike path and landed in the water.
First responders rushed the male driver to a local hospital with undisclosed injuries. At this time, no updates on his condition have been released.
According to Glendale Police, three officers also required transport to a hospital to be evaluated for hypothermia. Authorities said all three were expected to recover.
An investigation remains underway.
