MILWAUKEE, WI — A car caught on fire early Monday near Juneau Park in downtown Milwaukee’s Yankee Hill neighborhood, according to CBS58.
The incident occurred near the intersection of East Juneau Avenue and North Prospect Avenue. It was first reported by CBS58 at 2:02 p.m.
Details are limited, but Milwaukee police said a man had left his parked car to take a walk at the park. Shortly after, a fire began in the vehicle’s engine compartment.
No injuries were reported in the event, but two nearby vehicles were also damaged as a result.
An investigation into the cause of the blaze was underway.
