KENOSHA COUNTY, WI — At least two people were injured late Saturday afternoon in a multi-vehicle collision on County Highway West near southwest Wilmot, according to Daily Badger Bulletin.
The accident occurred near the County Highway C K intersection at approximately 4:19 p.m.
It was unclear what led up to the crash, but the Kenosha County Sheriff’s department confirmed three vehicles were involved, and rescue crews had to extricate one person trapped in a vehicle.
One female occupant suffered serious injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital, where she remained as of Sunday.
An undisclosed number of occupants in two other vehicles sustained minor injuries but were not taken to a hospital.
Traffic was diverted from the scene during the emergency response and investigation, which went on for more than six hours.
