MILWAUKEE, WI — A vehicle collision Friday morning blocked a left lane on Interstate 43 near the Halyard Park neighborhood in northwest Milwaukee, according to TTWN Milwaukee.
The crash happened on the northbound lanes at West North Avenue and was first reported by TTWN at 7:10 a.m.
It was unclear what caused the collision or how many vehicles were involved, but commuters were warned of a traffic jam as far back as Fond du Lac Avenue.

By 7:30 a.m., the scene had been moved to the left shoulder and away from traffic lanes.
