MILWAUKEE, WI — A 36-year-old man died Friday morning after a high-speed rollover crash that injured a woman near Milwaukee’s Hawthorn Glen neighborhood, reports TMJ4.
The fatal collision occurred on the North Hawley Road overpass near West State Street shortly before 10:00 a.m.
Milwaukee Police said the man was behind the wheel of a car when he hit and curb at a high rate of speed, causing the vehicle to flip multiple times before coming to rest on its hood.
The driver had to be extricated from the wreckage and was pronounced deceased at the scene, confirmed authorities.
His passenger, a 35-year-old woman, was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
