OCONTO COUNTY, WI — Three fishermen were left stranded Friday afternoon after their pickup truck broke through ice on the bay of Green Bay, according to WBAY.
Crews with Oconto Fire Rescue and Little River Fire responded to the scene more than four miles east of D.E. Hall County Park in Oconto, shortly after 4:00 p.m.
Few details have been released at this time, but first responders arrived with multiple emergency vehicles, including two rescue trucks and a six-wheeler, which was used to transport the victims safely back to shore.
An ambulance was also observed at the scene, but authorities confirmed no serious injuries were reported.
