KENOSHA COUNTY, WI — A man was seriously injured Wednesday night when he was struck by a vehicle off Wisconsin Highway 50 in southwest Kenosha, according to Kenosha News.
First responders arrived at the scene near the highway’s (Roosevelt Road) intersection with 22nd Street at around 7:15 p.m.
Details are limited at this time, but Kenosha Police Department said the man was walking in the area when he was hit by a female driver who said she did not see the victim.
The pedestrian was transported by airlift to Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa with serious injuries, but the severity of his condition was not disclosed.
Authorities said the driver, who was not reported injured, cooperated with an investigation.
At this time, no charges or citations have been filed.
