RACINE COUNTY, WI — A driver was hospitalized Wednesday after a multi-vehicle collision involving a school bus on Wisconsin Highway 36 in south Wind Lake, reports FOX6 Milwaukee.
The accident happened near the South Wind Lake Road intersection and was first reported by FOX6 at 6:26 p.m.
An early investigation indicates a pickup truck and an SUV collided, and the impact of the crash pushed the SUV on its side and into a school bus.
15 children were on board the bus at the time, but authorities confirmed none of them were injured and all were released back to their guardians.
The driver of the SUV suffered minor injuries and was transported to an area hospital.
No other injuries were reported, and no further information has been disclosed at this time.
