BROWN COUNTY, WI — A 34-year-old Green Bay man died Friday morning after crashing his car into a pickup truck on County Trunk Highway PP near south De Pere, reports We Are Green Bay.
The fatal accident happened on a stretch of CTH PP a little south of CTH W at about 6:15 a.m.
Officials with the Brown County Sheriff’s Office said the man was driving a Chevrolet Volt southbound on the highway when he lost control of the car. The Chevrolet ran past the center line and entered the northbound lane, where it struck an oncoming Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck head-on.
The Green Bay man died from his injuries at the scene, confirmed authorities.
The driver of the pickup, a Greenleaf woman, was not hurt in the event.
An investigation was underway, but deputies have said they do not suspect intoxication played a role.
