MILWAUKEE, WI — A 25-year-old man died early Tuesday morning after a single-vehicle accident in northwest Milwaukee’s Golden Valley area, according to CBS58.
The fatal crash happened near North Mayfair Road and West Burleigh Street shortly before midnight.
An early investigation indicates the man lost control of his vehicle, causing the car to veer past the median. The vehicle collided with a light pole, a tree, and a concrete bridge support before arriving at a rest in the westbound lanes.
Authorities confirmed the driver, who was the vehicle’s sole occupant, died from his injuries at the scene.
The Wisconsin State Patrol was assisting Milwaukee Police in the investigation and crash reconstruction.
