MILWAUKEE, WI — A 36-year-old man was hospitalized early Thursday after a single-vehicle collision near Milwaukee’s south side, according to CBS58.
Milwaukee Police said the fatal accident happened on West Morgan Avenue. It was first reported by CBS58 at 5:35 a.m.
An early investigation shows the victim was behind the wheel of a vehicle going westbound on the road when he lost control of the car, causing it to slam into a tree.
The victim suffered grave injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital. No updates on his condition have been released as of this writing.
Authorities said weather conditions and high speed likely factored into the wreck.
