MILWAUKEE, WI — A vehicle collision Friday morning closed an Interstate 43 entrance ramp near north Milwaukee’s Grover Heights neighborhood, according to TTWN Milwaukee.
The accident impacted the onramp from West Capitol Drive to I-43 southbound and was first reported by TTWN at 8:30 a.m.
Commuters were told to expect stop-and-go traffic two exits back to Silver Spring Drive.

By 9:15 a.m., the ramp remained blocked, suggesting a serious accident and extended emergency response.
