MILWAUKEE, WI — A vehicle collision Thursday morning blocked two right lanes on Interstate 43 near the Walker’s Point neighborhood in downtown Milwaukee, according to TTWN Milwaukee.
The accident happened on the southbound lanes at Exit 311 to West National Avenue, or Wisconsin Highway 59. It was first reported by TTWN at 5:55 a.m.
Commuters were told to expect stop-and-go traffic one exit back to the Marquette Interchange.

By 6:15 a.m., twenty minutes later, the scene had been cleared to the right shoulder.
