MILWAUKEE, WI — A vehicle accident Friday morning blocked two right lanes on Interstate 41 near Currie Park in northwest Milwaukee, according to TTWN Milwaukee.
The crash happened on the northbound lanes (U.S. Highway 45) approaching West Capitol Drive. It was first reported by TTWN at 6:45 a.m.

Only one lane was initially closed, but by 6:50 p.m., a second right lane had also shut down.

Commuters were told to expect stop-and-go traffic back to Burleigh Street.
