APPLETON, WI — Snowy weather conditions caused at least four collisions Sunday morning on Interstate 41 near northeast Appleton, according to NBC26.
The events unfolded on the southbound lanes near Exit 144 to North Ballard Road, near Appleton Memorial Park, at around 10:45 a.m.
It was unclear whether or not the wrecks were related, but the Wisconsin State Highway Patrol said at least four happened within the same quarter mile of each other.
No injuries were reported, but an emergency helicopter responded to one of the sites.
Three incidents were being handled by the State Patrol while Appleton police responded to another.
