KENOSHA COUNTY, WI — A 23-year-old man died late Sunday night after a wrong-way collision involving a UPS truck on Interstate 94 in Bristol, according to TMJ4.
The fatal accident occurred on the southbound lanes just south of the Wisconsin Highway 50 intersection shortly before 11:33 p.m.
A preliminary investigation indicates the man was driving a Toyota Scion northbound on the southbound interstate when his car struck an oncoming UPS truck head-on.
The Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department confirmed the wrong-way driver died from his injuries at the scene.
The driver of the UPS truck, a 45-year-old man, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
