APPLETON, WI — A driver suffered a medical emergency early Friday morning, leading to a multi-vehicle collision on Interstate 41 in north Appleton, according to WHBY.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation said the crash happened near North Gillett Street at around 2:15 a.m.
Details are limited at this time, but authorities said two SUVs and a sedan were involved.
According to the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office, EMS crews were dispatched to the scene for the driver who experienced the medical issue, but no other injuries were reported.
By 4:25 a.m., the scene had been cleared from the roadway.
