KENOSHA COUNTY, WI — A 24-year-old Milwaukee man died early Saturday after a fiery single-vehicle collision in the Village of Bristol, according to TMJ4.
The Kenosha County Sheriff’s Office said the fatal accident happened on West State Line Road shortly after 1:00 a.m.
An early investigation indicates the victim was speeding eastbound behind the wheel of a Red Chevy when the vehicle veered off the roadway and struck a utility pole and a tree. The impact of the crash caused the car to burst into flames.
Authorities said the driver was not wearing a seat belt at the time and was found partially ejected from the vehicle. He suffered severe burns and died from his injuries at the scene.
An investigation was in progress.
