WASHINGTON COUNTY, WI — A 32-year-old man was arrested and charged for suspected impairment after a single-vehicle accident on Interstate 41 near north Allenton, reports We Are Green Bay.
The collision occurred on the northbound interstate near Canary Lane shortly before 12:18 a.m.
Authorities initially received a call about a vehicle going 80 miles per hour and moving erratically on the roadway. The driver was pulled over after striking median cables in the area.
The suspect displayed signs of impairment at the scene and was arrested and booked into the Washington County Jail. He is now facing his fourth charge of OWI (operating while intoxicated), as well as a charge for Bail Jumping.
Authorities also said the man, an Appleton resident, was out on bond for seven other open criminal cases.
