MILWAUKEE, WI — A vehicle accident Tuesday morning blocked three lanes on Interstate 794 near downtown Milwaukee’s Historic Third Ward, according to TTWN Milwaukee.
The collision occurred on the eastbound lanes approaching the exit to Jackson Street and Van Buren Street. It was first reported by TTWN at 7:10 a.m.

Only a center lane was initially closed, but by 7:15 a.m., the closure included two right lanes.

Commuters were told to expect stop-and-go traffic back to James Lovell Street.
