MILWAUKEE, WI — A vehicle fire Thursday evening closed all northbound lanes on Interstate 43 near north Milwaukee’s Williamsburg Heights neighborhood, according to FOX 6 Milwaukee.
The incident took place near Exit 76A to Capitol Drive shortly before 5:00 p.m.
All northbound lanes remained closed as fire crews responded to the scene, but shortly after 5:00 p.m., the scene had been cleared and lanes begun reopening.
No further details have been shared regarding a possible cause of the fire. It was not immediately clear whether anyone was seriously injured.
