SOUTH MILWAUKEE, WI — One person was hospitalized Saturday after a vehicle struck a fire hydrant and a utility pole near the Grant Park Soccer Field in South Milwaukee, according to FOX6 Milwaukee.
South Milwaukee Fire crews responded to the scene near the intersection of College Avenue and Lake Drive.
A photo taken at the scene shows severe front-end and driver’s side damage to a silver SUV.
It was not immediately clear what caused the accident, but authorities confirmed one person suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
