EAU CLAIRE COUNTY, WI — Multiple people were injured Wednesday morning in a series of crashes involving cars and semi-trucks on Interstate 94 near Eau Claire, according to TMJ4.
Wisconsin State Patrol said two collisions occurred on the eastbound lanes about four miles southeast of the city.
Investigators said the incident was also related to several other minor crashes nearby. Aerial photos taken at the scene show at least two dozen vehicles impacted by the event.
No information has been released on the conditions of the parties involved, but as of this writing, no fatalities have been reported.
Authorities suggested storms from the previous day and cold temperatures may have factored into the crashes.
