MILWAUKEE, WI — A 34-year-old man was hospitalized Saturday afternoon after a vehicle he was hanging onto crashed into a parked car in Milwaukee’s Lindsay Heights area, according to TMJ4.
The incident occurred in the 1000 block of West North Avenue at approximately 5:20 p.m.
According to Milwaukee police, the driver purposefully drove a car with the victim hanging on from the outside when the car collided with a parked vehicle. The victim was ejected from the moving car in the impact of the crash.
Authorities said the victim suffered life-threatening injuries and was rushed to a local hospital. His condition remains undisclosed.
The driver of the causing vehicle, a 64-year-old man, was taken into custody following the event. MPD says criminal charges are expected to be handled by the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.
