MARQUETTE CO., WI – A woman was killed in a single-vehilce crash near US-51 yesterday, Channel 3000 reports.
The collision occurred shortly after 4 p.m. as Jeniffer Peters, 47, was heading north on County Highway M near Elk Road.
Police say Peters’ vehicle skidded across the center line and entered a ditch before colliding with several roadside trees. She was ultimately pronounced dead at the scene.
No other vehicles were involved in the fatal wreck.
