SOMERS, WI – More than 20,00 pounds of dry corn feed were spilled across a roadway after a semi-truck overturned in Somers on Thursday afternoon.
According to Kenosha News, the crash occurred at about 3:45 p.m. within the 1500 block of 100th Avenue, just south of 14th Street.
Police say the truck slammed into a utility pole for unknown reasons, causing it to overturn and spill its load.
It is unclear if anyone was injured as a result of the incident. However, the roadway was shut down for several hours while cleanup crews cleared the scene.
