WAUPACA CO., WI – A man was killed and a woman was airlifted to the hospital after a single-vehicle crash near St. Lawrence on Sunday.
According to the Appleton Post-Crescent, the crash occurred shortly after 1 p.m. along County Road K.
Investigators say the 36-year-old driver of an unspecified vehicle veered off the road and into a ditch. She then overcorrected and went back across the roadway before slamming into a roadside tree.
The 71-year-old male passenger in the vehicle suffered fatal injuries in the crash. The driver was flown to a nearby hospital in unknown condition.
