MILWAUKEE, WI — Multiple lanes of northbound Interstate 41 were blocked Wednesday morning in Milwaukee’s south side, according to 511 Wisconsin.
The collision occurred at the interchange to southbound Interstate 43, near The Gateway to Milwaukee. It was first recorded by 511 at 5:17 a.m.
Authorities have not disclosed a sequence of events leading up to the wreck, but three right northbound lanes of I-41 were closed in the immediate aftermath.

At 6:04 a.m., more than 45 minutes later, only one right lane remained blocked. Shortly after 6:50 a.m., crews had cleared the scene from the roadway, leaving all lanes open to traffic.
